Online NCLEX prep and tutoring

You know more than you think. Let’s prove it on test day.

I’m Chakeidra Kinchen, a registered nurse and former nursing professor. I help nursing students, new grads and repeat test takers connect the content to real patients, think like a nurse, and walk into the NCLEX with a plan.

Sound familiar?

If one of these sounds like the voice in your head the night before an exam, you are in the right place.

  • “I froze on the select all that apply questions.”

We slow SATA down: each option becomes its own true or false call, judged against the client in the question.

  • “I know the content. I just can’t pick the best answer.”

You learn to spot what the question is really asking, then rank the options by priority and safety.

  • “I failed once, and I don’t know why.”

We read your Candidate Performance Report together and turn it into a plan that targets your weakest areas.

  • “There is so much to study. I don’t know where to start.”

You get a clear plan for what to study, in what order, and how to practice, built around your test date.

Here is the truth: struggling with the NCLEX is rarely about how smart you are. It is about connecting what you studied to the patient in front of you, and having a strategy when every answer looks right. That part can be taught. It is what I do.

Six week NCLEX bootcamp

Six weeks, one plan, and people in your corner

Structured weekly lessons, practice questions and study guidance with a cohort working toward the same goal. Built for students who do their best work with a schedule and accountability.

The next cohort will be announced soon. Join the email list below and you will be the first to hear when registration opens.

Week by week

A sample outline of the six weeks. Each week mixes lessons, practice questions with rationales, and study guidance.

Week 1The test plan and your strategy

How the NCLEX is built and scored, the client needs categories and Next Generation NCLEX item types. A baseline check of where you stand, how to break down a question, and a study schedule you can keep.

Week 2Management of care and safety

Prioritization frameworks (ABCs, Maslow, acute over chronic, unstable over stable), delegation and assignment, infection control and isolation precautions, and client safety.

Week 3Pharmacology

Drug classes and what they have in common, high alert medications, safe administration, side effects versus adverse effects, and the nursing actions the exam expects.

Week 4Physiological adaptation and reduction of risk

Cardiac, respiratory, fluid and electrolyte and acid base essentials, key lab values, and recognizing complications early.

Week 5Case studies and clinical judgment

Next Generation NCLEX case studies worked step by step: recognize cues, analyze cues, prioritize hypotheses, generate solutions, take action and evaluate outcomes.

Week 6Full review and readiness

Timed practice, a final pass over your weak areas, your test day plan, and strategies for staying calm when a question feels unfamiliar.

Nursing school taught you the content. I’m here to show you how it shows up at the bedside, and on the exam.

Meet your educator

Hi, I’m Chakeidra.

I have been a registered nurse for more than ten years, with a background in trauma and surgical critical care, where the textbook meets real patients in real time.

I went on to earn my Master’s in Nursing Education, taught nursing students as a professor, and served as a nurse leader. Along the way I saw how often smart, hardworking students knew the material and still froze on exam questions, because no one had shown them how the content connects to the patient in front of them.

That is what I do now. I make hard topics make sense by tying them to real patient care, I give you practice and strategy that fit how you learn, and I make sure you always have a safe place to ask questions.

Sessions and courses are held online, so you can join from home on a computer with a reliable internet connection.

Do you help with the NCLEX-RN or the NCLEX-PN?

The programs are built for the NCLEX-RN. If you are preparing for the NCLEX-PN, request a free consultation and we will talk about whether the support is a good fit for you.

What happens in the free consultation?

After you send the request form, Chakeidra emails you to set a time. We spend about 30 minutes on where you are, your test date, what has and has not worked, and how you learn best. You leave with a clear recommendation, and there is no obligation.

How does the six week bootcamp work?

Each week covers a set of NCLEX topics with structured lessons, practice questions and study guidance, alongside a cohort working toward the same goal. Each cohort has set dates and a limited number of seats. Join the email list to hear first when the next one opens.

I did not pass the NCLEX. Can you still help?

Yes. A Candidate Performance Report review is built for exactly this. We read your report together, find the pattern behind the result, and build a focused plan for your next attempt.

How much does it cost?
